[00:00:17] Bancors Brothel presents The Big Sleep Umythos 5e Adventure.

[00:01:24] You are headed to the Steward's Office, is that correct?

[00:01:26] I am going to Rayhack's secret office.

[00:01:29] You're not you, you.

[00:01:31] Oh.

[00:01:31] You're going to the Steward's Office, was that correct?

[00:01:33] Yeah.

[00:01:34] Yep.

[00:01:35] You walk down the hall.

[00:01:38] You actually go into a very similar space, mirrored to the space I just explained to you.

[00:01:44] It's a big 20 by 20 square space with a spiral staircase.

[00:01:47] It's the mirror universe.

[00:01:49] You would be facing south, so to your right there's the entrance to the chapel,

[00:01:52] but directly around the corner is a doorway that goes into his office.

[00:01:57] There's a single garden here and the Arbiter just kind of gives him a nod as she unlocks and opens the Steward's Office door.

[00:02:06] I get that spell soon.

[00:02:10] And not that you've been in his office, but very similar, much smaller than now that you've seen Kat.

[00:02:16] You've seen Rayhack's office.

[00:02:19] It's about half the size.

[00:02:20] Maybe a little over half the size, but about half the size of Rayhack's office.

[00:02:24] Smaller desk, less paperwork, bookshelf full of things.

[00:02:30] And there is another door, like directly across from you, that would go into his bedchamber.

[00:02:36] Where is Rayhack's office in relation to the Steward?

[00:02:39] Directly across the hall.

[00:02:40] Directly across the hall.

[00:02:42] Yep.

[00:02:42] Okay.

[00:02:43] The doors are not in the same area.

[00:02:45] That's the weird thing about it.

[00:02:46] Like, I can draw it out if you want me to, but it's just, you have to go out south, out of the Steward's Office.

[00:02:57] Literally move five feet, go through another door back into that hallway, and then turn left into the doorway to Rayhack's office.

[00:03:05] There are not doors directly across from each other.

[00:03:07] But the office is directly across from each other.

[00:03:10] Weird.

[00:03:10] If that makes any sense.

[00:03:11] Kind of.

[00:03:12] So you gotta go through three doors to get to it.

[00:03:15] Alright.

[00:03:15] I'll hop off of my friend's shoulder and just kinda case the room.

[00:03:20] Drop down onto the desk, look around.

[00:03:22] Yeah.

[00:03:22] Perception.

[00:03:23] Sure.

[00:03:23] Go ahead.

[00:03:25] 25.

[00:03:28] I mean, you're not able to really open drawers, so you're just kinda walking around.

[00:03:33] Yes, I can.

[00:03:33] We established that I opened drawers last time.

[00:03:35] I get my little paw in there, I shove it open.

[00:03:38] Yeah.

[00:03:38] His tail's prehensile.

[00:03:40] You're doing that in front of the arbiter though?

[00:03:43] Fucker, yeah.

[00:03:45] Uh, she kinda-

[00:03:46] I'm investigating.

[00:03:47] She kinda-

[00:03:48] Uh, you- your cat is able to open drawers?

[00:03:51] It trained really well.

[00:03:53] Mhm.

[00:03:54] I don't- I know that you should be doing that.

[00:03:56] Don't do that.

[00:03:57] Don't do that.

[00:03:57] Bad kitty.

[00:03:57] Bad kitty.

[00:03:59] Like, one second.

[00:04:01] Hold on.

[00:04:01] Well, again, we're like-

[00:04:04] I need to investigate.

[00:04:05] Like, I need to find-

[00:04:08] Yeah.

[00:04:08] Alright.

[00:04:09] What are you looking for?

[00:04:11] Clues.

[00:04:12] I meow.

[00:04:13] I love how it's just like, what are you looking for?

[00:04:15] Meow!

[00:04:20] Pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat.

[00:04:21] You find catnip.

[00:04:23] Oh shit.

[00:04:24] Find some connection of the cult to-

[00:04:26] Um, somebody.

[00:04:28] You- you find green vials inside of a drawer.

[00:04:33] I clear my throat and say, um, meow?

[00:04:37] Meow, meow.

[00:04:37] Meow, meow, meow, meow.

[00:04:38] Ahem.

[00:04:39] Oh.

[00:04:39] Meow.

[00:04:40] You know, go look into the drawer and pull out some vials.

[00:04:45] How's this?

[00:04:46] I'll just stare at-

[00:04:47] She-

[00:04:50] She-

[00:04:50] kind of nods and says, okay.

[00:04:54] That's-

[00:04:56] Those are clues.

[00:04:57] Could be anything in that- that vial.

[00:04:58] I wouldn't-

[00:04:59] I wouldn't take them out of this room, but that's good to know that they're here.

[00:05:03] Uh, what are you rolling for?

[00:05:05] Insight.

[00:05:05] It was a great roll.

[00:05:06] Okay.

[00:05:07] Um, yeah.

[00:05:07] No, she seems sincere.

[00:05:09] She- okay.

[00:05:10] I would-

[00:05:10] I would at least leave everything where it's at, but obviously take note that that is here.

[00:05:14] That is-

[00:05:16] Unfortunate.

[00:05:18] Uh, you find a log book.

[00:05:21] I-

[00:05:23] Thumb through it without my thumbs.

[00:05:25] With that?

[00:05:26] Paw through it.

[00:05:27] Just one little-

[00:05:27] You just bat at it.

[00:05:29] Pe-pe-pe-pe-pe-pe.

[00:05:29] You lick your whole paw and just-

[00:05:32] Tha-tha-tha-tha-tha.

[00:05:33] Fuck.

[00:05:34] Ah, shit.

[00:05:37] Hey you, thumbs, come here.

[00:05:38] Um, you can't-

[00:05:41] It- it appears to be, um, it appears to be a log book of, uh, transactions.

[00:05:49] There are no names written, but there are initials.

[00:05:53] Written.

[00:05:54] Next to them.

[00:05:55] Uh, any description of the nature of these transactions when they took place?

[00:06:00] Um, I mean, they- they're dated back for years.

[00:06:05] Um, most- most recent one would be perhaps a week ago.

[00:06:09] Okay.

[00:06:09] You're not really sure what is being bought and sold.

[00:06:13] Um, but there is-

[00:06:15] There is a money amount next to each one.

[00:06:17] Okay.

[00:06:18] The minimal, some of it in the hundreds.

[00:06:21] People.

[00:06:22] Any, uh, anything like quantities or-

[00:06:25] Uh, yeah, it would be, it would be like quantity cost, quantity cost, quantity cost.

[00:06:30] Sometimes it's a single digit, sometimes it's a double digit.

[00:06:33] Nothing in the triple digits, but in the triple digits in money.

[00:06:36] Okay.

[00:06:36] Uh, what are some of those initials?

[00:06:39] Um, you see the initials VH.

[00:06:42] You see the initials, um, PR.

[00:06:47] You see the initials, uh, TR.

[00:06:51] You see SB.

[00:06:53] SB.

[00:06:54] You see, um, you see all kinds of initials.

[00:06:58] I mean, it- they could mean multiple things.

[00:07:02] You roll the 25, so I will- I will let you- you see- you do see the initial VH more often than anything else.

[00:07:13] His bedchamber door is locked if you were trying to get into it, Troy.

[00:07:17] That is not a key that she has.

[00:07:20] What, uh, what's Ray Hacks first name?

[00:07:25] Are you asking her?

[00:07:26] Yes.

[00:07:28] Paladis.

[00:07:30] And if you don't mind me, what's yours?

[00:07:35] Shit, I don't remember.

[00:07:38] She gave it to me.

[00:07:39] Cause we've only got two people with the last name R.

[00:07:42] And you got two sets of initials with R.

[00:07:47] She gave it to you.

[00:07:48] But VH.

[00:07:49] I don't remember.

[00:07:52] I mean, Victor, but the H just makes sense.

[00:07:54] We don't have an H.

[00:07:58] It doesn't start with a P.

[00:07:59] I just can't find it.

[00:08:01] Her first name does not start with a P.

[00:08:03] What about a T?

[00:08:04] It does start with a T.

[00:08:06] Although...

[00:08:09] We don't know if Rattavast has any other relations.

[00:08:18] One could be- like, that could be the other R.

[00:08:25] I guess technically we have-

[00:08:26] That's true.

[00:08:28] Although it is Vaughn-Rattavast.

[00:08:30] So like, would that be-

[00:08:32] Would they be counting the Vaughn?

[00:08:34] I don't think it starts with T either.

[00:08:36] I cannot find it for the life of me.

[00:08:38] But I don't believe it starts with T either.

[00:08:41] Does the mayor have a wife?

[00:08:47] A child?

[00:08:48] Anyone?

[00:08:49] Not that you're aware of, no.

[00:08:51] Not that you're aware of.

[00:08:53] I'm asking.

[00:08:53] What's the mayor's name?

[00:08:54] Oh, she said no.

[00:08:57] Did I find anything else in the drawers?

[00:09:00] Those are the most significant things in there.

[00:09:02] Okay.

[00:09:02] Other than, you know, a couple of small coin pouches.

[00:09:05] I will meow at my fish friend.

[00:09:09] You do so.

[00:09:09] Hold me up to the keyhole of his bed chambers.

[00:09:17] I will do so.

[00:09:18] Okay.

[00:09:19] I'm gonna try to lockpick.

[00:09:22] With your claw?

[00:09:25] Am I surprised?

[00:09:26] I did it the last time you let me.

[00:09:28] I know.

[00:09:30] I can all bring it in.

[00:09:31] Stop rolling, dis-single-pick.

[00:09:32] I'm trying.

[00:09:34] It's a real little number.

[00:09:35] It's still 17.

[00:09:37] That one doesn't lock.

[00:09:39] Click.

[00:09:40] I look back at my fish friend.

[00:09:42] That was only a 15.

[00:09:43] You doubted me.

[00:09:44] What is your plus?

[00:09:46] 8.

[00:09:48] Wasn't that a 4 on the die?

[00:09:51] 9.

[00:09:52] It looked like a 4 from back here.

[00:09:53] 9!

[00:09:54] That's low.

[00:09:57] That was the other thing I was kinda hoping we knew about the cult, if they had some sort

[00:10:01] of chant or whatever.

[00:10:03] You ever seen that comedian in the 70s in Germany?

[00:10:06] Lena.

[00:10:06] Lena is her name.

[00:10:07] I knew it was in there somewhere.

[00:10:08] Lena.

[00:10:09] Okay.

[00:10:09] Sorry, I apologize.

[00:10:10] Go ahead.

[00:10:11] Sorry, yes, Lena is her name.

[00:10:12] You open the bedchamber to Le Steward.

[00:10:21] It's a pretty mundane bedchamber.

[00:10:23] It's got a bed.

[00:10:24] It's got a nightstand.

[00:10:28] It has a chest of drawers for clothing and a wardrobe as well.

[00:10:36] And a show-in unit with more books.

[00:10:40] I will look through the closet.

[00:10:45] You just find standard clothing?

[00:10:49] Some of it very nice, some of it kind of more like street wear?

[00:10:54] I'll pat the pockets too.

[00:10:56] Anything of note?

[00:10:57] You may come up with like a couple of coins, but that's about it.

[00:11:01] I will go to the bookshelf.

[00:11:04] Okay.

[00:11:05] I will...

[00:11:06] Can cats read?

[00:11:08] Yeah.

[00:11:10] Racist?

[00:11:11] Racist.

[00:11:12] Catist?

[00:11:13] I'll look at some of the titles.

[00:11:18] Most of them appear to be historical texts on the city or the land.

[00:11:24] Cults for dummies.

[00:11:26] Encyclopedic tomes.

[00:11:30] Nothing about, you know, myth, magic, or occultish in any way, shape, or form.

[00:11:38] Don't waste the meat.

[00:11:39] How to turn your ritual kills into 101 easy made dinners.

[00:11:44] Yeah.

[00:11:46] I'll look over the tops of the books.

[00:11:49] Do I see any that have like bookmarks or things within them or like pages that...

[00:11:56] Kind of like that.

[00:11:58] Or, you know, if like something slipped into a book, you can kind of tell like there's some space between the pages.

[00:12:03] Not really.

[00:12:05] I mean, you can tell that they've definitely been read.

[00:12:07] They have a lot of spine wear.

[00:12:09] Some of them are older than the steward himself.

[00:12:12] So, you know, you know that he had a relative as a steward at one point.

[00:12:19] Some of these books could have been his great grandfathers.

[00:12:21] You don't seem to find anything of note in this room.

[00:12:28] Even in the chest of drawers?

[00:12:30] Yeah.

[00:12:32] All right.

[00:12:33] Well, I will meow to my good fish friend.

[00:12:37] The vials were empty, which may suggest that he too is empty.

[00:12:42] If he was talking to the mayor and signaling to his flask, he may have been asking for more.

[00:12:49] Just a thought.

[00:12:50] So maybe that's the supplier?

[00:12:53] Hmm.

[00:12:55] Maybe they popped off for a little nip.

[00:12:58] Were we ever given a surname for the king and queen?

[00:13:02] No.

[00:13:03] I don't even know.

[00:13:04] Suspicious.

[00:13:05] Actually, I'm under the assumption Aetrax is the surname.

[00:13:09] Okay.

[00:13:09] I don't think you're given a first name.

[00:13:13] I believe Aetrax is the surname.

[00:13:16] Because it doesn't give me anything else in this book.

[00:13:18] I thought you gave us a name for the queen.

[00:13:24] Oh, you know what?

[00:13:25] Maybe I did.

[00:13:27] Well, Selena is her first name.

[00:13:29] I don't know that it gives me a last name.

[00:13:31] Okay.

[00:13:34] So I actually don't think it gives me anything further than Aetrax.

[00:13:38] I'm going to assume Aetrax is a surname.

[00:13:40] Aetrax Aetrax.

[00:13:42] Is your name Mario Mario?

[00:13:45] It's my brother Daryl and my other brother Daryl.

[00:13:50] It's to me Mario, which means Super Mario.

[00:13:52] Yeah.

[00:13:54] That's about all you find in this space.

[00:13:57] Okay.

[00:13:58] The Arbiter, you can see, is getting antsy.

[00:14:00] Like, are you getting done?

[00:14:01] Yeah.

[00:14:04] Yeah.

[00:14:05] Well, we can go.

[00:14:06] Slip out.

[00:14:07] Back to the party.

[00:14:09] What do you want to do?

[00:14:11] We should probably try to keep a profile.

[00:14:13] Yeah, so probably best to check, go back to the party and see about.

[00:14:18] Okay.

[00:14:18] Leave the vials.

[00:14:20] Reassessing.

[00:14:21] We know they're here.

[00:14:22] And please lock the door to the Stewards Chambers.

[00:14:25] And she will lead you up.

[00:14:27] Back toward Le Partay.

[00:14:30] We totally won't pocket one of those vials.

[00:14:33] Wink.

[00:14:35] That's right.

[00:14:37] Where's Flynn pocketed at?

[00:14:39] My butt.

[00:14:40] My butt.

[00:14:40] And he's got a, he's got a, a butt of holding.

[00:14:43] A butt of holding.

[00:14:46] Flared base, Flynn!

[00:14:47] Flared base!

[00:14:50] She, she will then, instead of taking you back north, she will just bring you right back

[00:14:55] into the entrance hall and then into, back into the main hall where the party goes.

[00:14:58] Cause it's closer.

[00:15:00] Shorter walk.

[00:15:02] Uh, Ghoul.

[00:15:05] You, the door opens, you see Grimkalkin walk in, followed not long after the, uh, Magnus.

[00:15:13] As you walk back into the party, are you looking for anyone else?

[00:15:16] Doing anything else?

[00:15:17] Speaking to anyone else?

[00:15:18] Uh, I probably, um, wouldn't walk back into the party.

[00:15:24] Where would you like to go then?

[00:15:26] I would step out and take a right.

[00:15:29] Into the western hall?

[00:15:30] Yes.

[00:15:32] Okay.

[00:15:33] There's a guard directly across from you, who is standing guard in the corner.

[00:15:42] Guard gives you a weird look and sniffs his armpit.

[00:15:48] Well, I can smell death, right?

[00:15:51] Yeah.

[00:15:52] Okay.

[00:15:52] Okay.

[00:15:53] People were chopped up and murdered in this area, we presume.

[00:15:57] So I'm gonna walk the halls and take a little sniff, sniff, sniff.

[00:16:01] Do you have any kind of, um, distance on that?

[00:16:06] Uh, I don't know.

[00:16:07] It's your game, you tell me.

[00:16:09] I mean, you don't smell anything weird.

[00:16:12] You have an advantage on perception checks that rely on the smell to notice or recognize corpses,

[00:16:15] decaying things, meat, or undead creatures.

[00:16:18] I have the same thing.

[00:16:19] So would I have smelled anything right outside that door?

[00:16:23] Outside which door?

[00:16:25] The Ray Hacks office door that I was trying to get into.

[00:16:28] Is that something I would have noticed?

[00:16:31] I don't know because at the time I didn't know you had it.

[00:16:34] So I'm gonna say no.

[00:16:36] It's bullshit.

[00:16:38] I mean, you don't smell anything strange.

[00:16:40] You smell food.

[00:16:42] You might smell that, uh, the deer they've been draining to feed you for the night.

[00:16:47] No, I'm just, I'm just gonna start walking the halls and on the noble side and opening doors and smelling for dead things.

[00:16:55] Uh, guard will approach you.

[00:16:57] Uh, please leave the, uh, the doors alone.

[00:17:02] Re, uh, return to the party.

[00:17:07] You're nothing but a guard.

[00:17:08] So you're not, you're not a noble.

[00:17:11] I turn and just stand over him.

[00:17:16] Stop.

[00:17:17] Me.

[00:17:18] I'll attempt to intimidate him.

[00:17:21] Roll intimidate.

[00:17:24] Play the game.

[00:17:25] Play the game.

[00:17:28] Nobody? Queen?

[00:17:31] Okay.

[00:17:31] So we got...

[00:17:34] Thirteen!

[00:17:36] I'll give it to you.

[00:17:37] He just kind of backs off.

[00:17:38] He kind of gives you a stern look and just kind of backs off.

[00:17:42] I did my best.

[00:17:44] To which I can see it.

[00:17:45] I literally stare at him as I open the door, lean in, sniff.

[00:17:51] You, you, I mean, you don't smell anything.

[00:17:54] You're, uh, I'm just going by where you're walking.

[00:17:57] I'm gonna assume where you're at, so...

[00:17:59] You open, you open, you open that door.

[00:18:02] Uh, and you see someone, uh, slumped on the bed snoring.

[00:18:07] In bright robes.

[00:18:10] Do I smell the scent of death, decaying dead things or meat?

[00:18:13] You smell the scent of alcohol and a drunken, uh, a drunken arcanist.

[00:18:21] I look at the body and go,

[00:18:24] Intoxication is not consent!

[00:18:25] And I go on to my chair.

[00:18:28] Yeah.

[00:18:29] She just kind of goes, mm, go away.

[00:18:34] Uh, the next room...

[00:18:35] Next room down the hall appears to be an office.

[00:18:38] It's an office a couple of other people have already walked into.

[00:18:41] Do I smell any sign of...

[00:18:45] Whatever I said.

[00:18:46] Death, decaying corpses, meat, blood, dead things.

[00:18:51] You do not.

[00:18:53] Okay.

[00:18:54] There is another door in the back of this office.

[00:18:56] Well, I mean, like, if I can, if I can open a door and I don't smell anything, I'll kind of walk in the room and smell something.

[00:19:04] Because I feel like...

[00:19:07] I'm imagining that because I'm the ghoul and because I eat things, I'm going to detect these scents more likely than others.

[00:19:15] Yeah, but I'm going to assume...

[00:19:18] If there is a specific distance between you and death, you're not going to smell anything.

[00:19:21] No, agreed.

[00:19:22] I'm not smelling it 500 feet away.

[00:19:24] Right.

[00:19:24] But what I'm saying is if I can open a door and walk around the room, then I'm going to walk around the room.

[00:19:30] Sure.

[00:19:30] You can walk around his office, you don't smell death.

[00:19:33] If I can...

[00:19:34] I'm just saying I'm going into each room.

[00:19:36] So, like, I would have gone into the Arcanist room and sniffed around.

[00:19:40] Was there another door inside her room?

[00:19:45] Actually, yeah, there actually is.

[00:19:47] I would have tried that door and tried to sniff as well.

[00:19:49] What's in that room?

[00:19:51] You tell me.

[00:19:52] Have you read this book?

[00:19:53] Goddamn man.

[00:19:54] Oh, okay.

[00:19:54] Sorry, sorry, sorry.

[00:19:55] So, the room you walk into is actually like...

[00:19:59] Well, so, Chambers to me reads bedroom, but it's not.

[00:20:02] So, there's her...

[00:20:03] And then beyond that is her bedroom.

[00:20:05] I apologize.

[00:20:07] So, her chambers must be like her office.

[00:20:09] There's not a desk in here.

[00:20:10] So, it'll be where she practices magic, mixes potions, that sort of thing.

[00:20:14] Especially in a place like...

[00:20:14] So, if you did smell death in there, you might smell dead animals that might be utilized for elixirs and things.

[00:20:20] Well, right.

[00:20:20] But, like I said, I know that they are supposedly killing people.

[00:20:24] They're probably...

[00:20:25] If they're chopping them up, blood is getting on the floor.

[00:20:29] There's death.

[00:20:29] There's a lot of shit going on.

[00:20:31] And I imagine that since my nose is more sensitive, if I can come across it, I might smell it better than they could have cleaned it up.

[00:20:39] So, like, if I see, ah, there's ritual stuff, then I would have opened the door to her bed chambers and sniffed again.

[00:20:43] Right.

[00:20:44] You would not have smelled anything other than anything that might be a ingredient to something in this room.

[00:20:51] Sure.

[00:20:51] Makes sense.

[00:20:52] So, if you don't open her bedroom, then you don't see her sleeping on her bed.

[00:20:55] Otherwise, you see her sleeping on her bed.

[00:20:56] What I'm saying is I would have gone into the office...

[00:20:58] Right.

[00:20:58] ...and sniffed.

[00:21:00] You would not smell death here.

[00:21:01] And then I would have tried the door.

[00:21:02] Which is locked.

[00:21:04] I also don't know that they would necessarily be trying to murder people in the palace.

[00:21:11] Well, he's saying that the food...

[00:21:13] I think that they're not...

[00:21:14] For all I know, everybody, the delicious cod may be fucking, you know, people.

[00:21:20] I don't know.

[00:21:22] Soylent cod.

[00:21:23] Yeah, shit.

[00:21:24] He's saying you're...

[00:21:25] I was gonna make the same joke.

[00:21:27] He's saying you're cod, soylent cod.

[00:21:30] You're fired.

[00:21:31] I was gonna make the same joke.

[00:21:33] I know.

[00:21:34] Like mines.

[00:21:36] I mean, I'll try the door.

[00:21:39] I'm trying to decide if he would kick the door in.

[00:21:40] It is locked.

[00:21:43] That would probably piss him off.

[00:21:44] I mean, it's a strength check.

[00:21:46] Double me.

[00:21:46] Kick a door down.

[00:21:48] You're probably the strongest in the group.

[00:21:50] Fair enough.

[00:21:50] I am pretty strong.

[00:21:51] You're pretty strong.

[00:21:52] Strong as hell.

[00:21:54] Got that strong.

[00:21:55] I think I would...

[00:21:56] I honestly think, as much as everybody wants to go in that door, I don't know that my character

[00:22:00] has motivation at this point.

[00:22:01] Like, I am trying to smell...

[00:22:03] I would make note of the locked door and see...

[00:22:05] Go on to the next one.

[00:22:06] Because I'm looking for wherever these bodies are supposedly being chopped up.

[00:22:09] Sure.

[00:22:10] Because I'm gonna presume I can smell it if I get closer.

[00:22:11] Um...

[00:22:12] The next door you see goes into a room.

[00:22:16] As you walk in, as you walk in, you see them walking out of an office.

[00:22:20] With the arbiter.

[00:22:22] They dispose of bodies here somewhere.

[00:22:25] The arbiter kind of goes...

[00:22:29] As Victor says what?

[00:22:30] I just stare at her.

[00:22:32] No, she goes...

[00:22:34] What?

[00:22:35] What?

[00:22:37] What?

[00:22:37] What?

[00:22:38] What?

[00:22:38] What?

[00:22:38] What?

[00:22:39] What?

[00:22:39] What are you talking about?

[00:22:45] I'm just gonna start sniffing and moving around them.

[00:22:48] What is he talking about?

[00:22:50] Do I see the cat?

[00:22:51] Yeah, absolutely.

[00:22:52] Do you smell death?

[00:22:55] I'll, uh...

[00:22:57] Make a sniffy perception.

[00:22:59] You don't...

[00:22:59] You won't have to.

[00:23:00] Okay.

[00:23:00] You don't smell anything.

[00:23:02] 20.

[00:23:03] Same as him.

[00:23:04] I mean, you don't smell anything here.

[00:23:05] If there's an interior door that I can open, I will open and sniff in there as well.

[00:23:09] The next door you see either goes into the entrance hall, which would be to your left, or to the chapel to your right.

[00:23:16] No, I...

[00:23:17] Or the office that they just came out of.

[00:23:18] No, like I said, go into the room.

[00:23:20] If there's an interior room, try and get into that room.

[00:23:23] I'm going to eliminate every single room, Lucas.

[00:23:25] So if you want me to roleplay every single room, I'll go through every single room.

[00:23:28] No, you are not smelling death here.

[00:23:29] That's fine.

[00:23:30] I would move to the next room.

[00:23:32] No.

[00:23:33] Every single room, you do not smell death in any room.

[00:23:36] On the west side at all.

[00:23:39] Now I'm going...

[00:23:40] Now I have reason to go back to the room with the locked door.

[00:23:43] I'll go with you.

[00:23:44] I figured like once we passed you, I would move with you and...

[00:23:48] Cause now I'm interested in sniffing around.

[00:23:49] I mean, the arbiter's just kind of watching you go in and out of rooms and like...

[00:23:51] What is going on?

[00:23:54] Again...

[00:23:55] We're trying to investigate the cult.

[00:23:57] Like...

[00:23:58] Yeah, but dead bodies in the palace?

[00:23:59] Like what the hell?

[00:24:00] I don't...

[00:24:01] That's new information for me, so I don't know what's going on there.

[00:24:04] But yes, all you're seeing...

[00:24:05] Who told you this?

[00:24:06] Oh, I'm not responding to her.

[00:24:07] All you're seeing me to do is like a Three Stooges bit where I'm like opening the door, sniffing,

[00:24:11] walking around the room, sniffing, coming out, sniffing.

[00:24:14] It's more Benny Hill.

[00:24:15] Yeah.

[00:24:17] As I walk by Troy, I go...

[00:24:19] And slap him in the face.

[00:24:22] It's that Scooby-Doo thing where you go in one door, but like come out another.

[00:24:26] Yeah, I got you.

[00:24:27] I just like that he's...

[00:24:29] So then you're going back to his office then?

[00:24:31] Yeah, cause at this point I have theoretically eliminated every other room.

[00:24:37] Uh, do either of us have the ability to detect secret or hidden rooms on this side?

[00:24:42] Hmm.

[00:24:44] Let me look.

[00:24:45] Um, as we're walking I would catch him up on what we found in the steward's office as well

[00:24:51] as that conversation that I saw the mayor and the steward.

[00:24:54] Sure.

[00:24:54] You are now aware of these things.

[00:24:56] In the log book.

[00:24:57] They thoroughly checked the steward's office.

[00:24:59] There is no other rooms that they did not check.

[00:25:02] Yeah.

[00:25:02] Yes, the bed chamber of the steward yielded nothing but you found vials and a log book in the office.

[00:25:08] One of which you pocketed.

[00:25:09] I see it sticking out of his butt.

[00:25:14] Don't try to take it.

[00:25:15] It's like one of those plugs.

[00:25:18] The old back pocket.

[00:25:19] Is there a gate of slumber within a mile radius of us?

[00:25:24] No sir.

[00:25:25] Okay.

[00:25:27] Uh, you have followed the cat back into...

[00:25:30] Grim Culkin back into...

[00:25:31] Jesus Christ.

[00:25:32] The main hall.

[00:25:33] No, I haven't.

[00:25:35] No, I haven't.

[00:25:36] Okay.

[00:25:36] You see Grim Culkin go back into the main hall.

[00:25:38] You're standing at the entrance...

[00:25:40] In the entrance hall then.

[00:25:41] No, I haven't.

[00:25:43] You did.

[00:25:44] No, I didn't.

[00:25:45] Because you watched where she went.

[00:25:47] I've already explained this.

[00:25:47] I don't know what...

[00:25:48] I...

[00:25:48] I did not.

[00:25:50] I went up the guard tower.

[00:25:51] I'm crossing across the top of the palace.

[00:25:53] Oh, fuck.

[00:25:54] I forgot you were doing that.

[00:25:55] Why are you trying to redact the comments I made earlier?

[00:25:59] Because I forgot you were doing that because it's stupid.

[00:26:28] Um...

[00:26:29] He's a dog on the side of the palace.

[00:26:31] All of the other kids with the popped up kicks with the popped up kicks.

[00:26:34] Does he not constantly say play the game?

[00:26:36] He does.

[00:26:37] I think it's great.

[00:26:38] So what did I do?

[00:26:39] I put on my...

[00:26:40] All right.

[00:26:41] Boots of spider walking and walked across to find out if I could get into the view.

[00:26:45] I mean, to be fair, in terms of playing the game, you're the one who doesn't have an upstairs to your castle.

[00:26:50] He constantly is like, play the game.

[00:26:52] Oh, wait.

[00:26:52] No.

[00:26:53] Play it the way I want you to play it.

[00:26:55] What am I saying?

[00:26:56] I hope future Lucas forgets about this, cuts out his statement, and then has to go back and put it all the fuck back in because we just started talking about it.

[00:27:05] So otherwise the jokes don't matter.

[00:27:07] I'll remember.

[00:27:09] Uh...

[00:27:10] You didn't remember what happened 20 minutes ago when you asked him what he was doing?

[00:27:13] Because I thought it was a dumb idea.

[00:27:15] All right.

[00:27:15] And I appreciate your opinion.

[00:27:17] You're on the other side.

[00:27:18] What are you looking for?

[00:27:18] You're on the other side of the palace.

[00:27:20] I'm looking...

[00:27:20] He's peeping in windows, duh!

[00:27:22] He's walking along the ceiling and the walls.

[00:27:25] This is a thing I'm doing.

[00:27:28] He's window peeping.

[00:27:29] I am just looking for a way into the secret door I couldn't lockpick earlier.

[00:27:36] Uh, you're trying to find a way into the bedchamber?

[00:27:39] I'm just trying to find a window.

[00:27:41] I know there's some in here.

[00:27:43] It's not a giant stone box.

[00:27:45] That'd be stupid.

[00:27:45] No, that's absolutely a window.

[00:27:48] Yeah, there's a window.

[00:27:51] Cool.

[00:27:51] Let's go into the secret office of Ray hack that nobody can pick the damn lock on.

[00:27:56] In we go.

[00:27:57] Uh, the window is locked.

[00:27:59] You can either shatter the glass or you can use a strength check to try to pull the window open.

[00:28:04] We'll try the strength check first.

[00:28:07] Strength...

[00:28:08] Roll me a strength check.

[00:28:09] Strength check.

[00:28:11] Uh, that would be 20 total.

[00:28:13] That will open a window.

[00:28:15] You...

[00:28:17] Pull the window open.

[00:28:18] You guys kind of hear a poof on the other side of this door for some reason.

[00:28:22] Are they even near this office?

[00:28:24] Yes, they're in the office.

[00:28:27] You're opening the window of the bedchamber.

[00:28:30] Ray hacks?

[00:28:31] Yes, you look in and you see a bedchamber.

[00:28:34] What else do I see?

[00:28:36] That is a sturdy door for just being a bedroom.

[00:28:39] It's a sturdy lock.

[00:28:40] It's a window.

[00:28:42] It's a window, not a door.

[00:28:44] The door that nobody can pick because it's over 17 or...

[00:28:48] Did you roll an 18?

[00:28:48] I rolled an 18, I think.

[00:28:50] That's over 18 to pick.

[00:28:51] Uh-huh.

[00:28:52] It's a pretty strong lock.

[00:28:53] That is a strong lock.

[00:28:54] Sure.

[00:28:54] What else do I see in this bedchamber?

[00:28:57] Um...

[00:28:57] Whips, chains.

[00:29:00] Like the living quarters of the other officers of the court, the room holds a hearth, large bed, a wardrobe, and a chest.

[00:29:08] A human chest?

[00:29:09] A human chest?

[00:29:09] Oh my god!

[00:29:11] He was not specific!

[00:29:13] He was not.

[00:29:14] I smelled death!

[00:29:16] Uh...

[00:29:16] Roll me...

[00:29:19] Either intelligence or perception.

[00:29:21] Which one is better for you?

[00:29:23] Is it windy out today, Lucas?

[00:29:25] This evening, Lucas?

[00:29:27] Sure, why not?

[00:29:28] Because now there's a pressure change, so...

[00:29:33] It's not a very high roll.

[00:29:35] Uh...

[00:29:36] Do I get anything with eight?

[00:29:38] You do not.

[00:29:40] Uh, you might hear like a...

[00:29:42] Like somebody's trying to open the door.

[00:29:45] Well, since I can't hear anything, I might as well just start looking through stuff.

[00:29:50] Why can't you hear anything?

[00:29:52] I apparently...

[00:29:53] I didn't say you couldn't hear anything.

[00:29:55] I don't know.

[00:29:56] He asked me to roll with that.

[00:29:57] Yeah, perception check.

[00:29:58] You were not perceptive enough to see anything.

[00:30:02] The listen roll would be different.

[00:30:04] I'm also half blind, apparently.

[00:30:07] Um...

[00:30:08] Perception works like that.

[00:30:08] The wardrobe does not yield much of anything.

[00:30:11] The...

[00:30:11] The little chest is locked.

[00:30:13] It's like a...

[00:30:14] Like a cedar chest.

[00:30:15] Can we...

[00:30:16] Can we hear him fumble fucking around in there?

[00:30:18] Give me a listen check.

[00:30:20] No, he did just...

[00:30:21] He just smashed the window open.

[00:30:22] I did not smash the window open.

[00:30:24] I did not.

[00:30:25] No, you heard...

[00:30:25] You heard...

[00:30:26] You heard a...

[00:30:29] Decent...

[00:30:29] Not a super loud, but a loud enough...

[00:30:31] Poop!

[00:30:32] And kind of hear some wind inside of the next room.

[00:30:35] I will...

[00:30:35] Like you would have heard him pulling the window open.

[00:30:37] Well, yeah.

[00:30:38] I assume it broke the lock.

[00:30:39] Yeah.

[00:30:40] Absolutely.

[00:30:41] There's probably...

[00:30:42] So like...

[00:30:42] Upon hearing that, I will look at the cat, and then I will bang on the door.

[00:30:46] Thump! Thump!

[00:30:47] Open!

[00:30:47] There's a knock on the door.

[00:30:50] I step back out the window for a moment and hang out outside.

[00:30:54] I was hoping he would recognize my voice, but I suppose that's a fair response for you.

[00:30:57] You probably would recognize the ghoul's voice in fairness.

[00:30:59] I'm just throwing it out there.

[00:31:01] Nothing happens.

[00:31:02] As the person of...

[00:31:03] As the person, uh...

[00:31:04] Doing a voice, I feel like my voice would be immediately recognizable.

[00:31:08] Probably true.

[00:31:09] You would recognize the voice, but if you go outside, you go outside.

[00:31:12] And...

[00:31:13] Can I open the door from the inside?

[00:31:15] Uh, with enough fiddle fucking, you can open the door.

[00:31:20] Why not?

[00:31:21] Let's make it a party!

[00:31:23] Like, I don't know how a deadbolt...

[00:31:25] It's not like a deadbolt, but like...

[00:31:27] It seems like based on the number of this fucking lock, it's almost like it's a deadbolt on the other side.

[00:31:34] You can unlock the door from the inside.

[00:31:35] Well, it's the complexity of the lock.

[00:31:37] It's a question of whether or not...

[00:31:38] Yeah.

[00:31:38] It's a level 20 lock.

[00:31:39] I don't know what to tell you.

[00:31:40] It's five tumblers and not three like the rest of them.

[00:31:43] Yeah.

[00:31:43] Like, you can...

[00:31:44] I'm just gonna say you can open it from the inside because otherwise you're not getting

[00:31:47] in this room.

[00:31:47] So yes, you open the door.

[00:31:48] I open the door.

[00:31:49] Otherwise I had an...

[00:31:50] I had another ploy, but that's fine.

[00:31:52] That's fine.

[00:31:53] Uh, you see all of your companions and the arbiter.

[00:31:58] Hi.

[00:31:58] And the arbiter goes...

[00:32:01] Oh, I'm fucking outta here.

[00:32:02] This is ridiculous.

[00:32:05] I'm surprised she was still hanging out with us.

[00:32:08] Shame on her.

[00:32:09] She just goes, you know what?

[00:32:10] Do your thing.

[00:32:11] I'm gonna go mingle.

[00:32:12] As I turn and look around, I go, who are you?

[00:32:14] Who?

[00:32:16] The arbiter?

[00:32:17] Yeah.

[00:32:19] It's the woman you've been selling stuff to.

[00:32:22] The woman that arrested you at the beginning of the game.

[00:32:25] Yeah.

[00:32:26] Yeah.

[00:32:27] Cody knows.

[00:32:30] I'm confused.

[00:32:31] Your character knows who this is.

[00:32:33] Sure he does.

[00:32:35] I walk into the room.

[00:32:38] I don't even know how to respond to this question.

[00:32:40] It's called shade, Lucas.

[00:32:42] I don't give a fuck who she is.

[00:32:45] Uh, she leaves.

[00:32:48] It's like, it's like your NPC is announcing her presence about how she doesn't condone what

[00:32:53] we're doing.

[00:32:54] And my rebuttal was a sarcastic response of, I don't give a fuck who you are.

[00:32:58] Gotcha.

[00:33:00] I thought you were legitimately asking me who the arbiter is, who you've spoken to many,

[00:33:04] many times.

[00:33:05] To which she should look dumbfounded and I walk in the door ignoring everything she's

[00:33:09] done.

[00:33:10] It's basically the way I've been playing this campaign.

[00:33:11] She throws up her hands and leaves.

[00:33:13] Um, I'm about to do the same.

[00:33:15] Um.

[00:33:17] You put up a locked door.

[00:33:18] We want to see in the locked door.

[00:33:21] This is why we can't be neighbors.

[00:33:22] I don't know.

[00:33:23] I pissed him off with just doing a funny voice.

[00:33:27] Like his ending.

[00:33:27] I mean, I was even just confused.

[00:33:29] It's hard to get inflection from your ground.

[00:33:32] What does this question mean?

[00:33:34] It's called, it's a non sequitur.

[00:33:37] You've also been playing him very dumb.

[00:33:39] So it's hard to understand if you're dumb or.

[00:33:41] Being an asshole.

[00:33:43] You all enter the bedroom of Captain Ray hack once again.

[00:33:48] A hearth, a bed, a wardrobe, a chest.

[00:33:53] A human chest.

[00:33:54] Roll me either investigation.

[00:33:56] Either investigation or perception.

[00:34:00] Whichever is better for you.

[00:34:02] It's a 20 either way.

[00:34:03] That's good.

[00:34:05] Woo.

[00:34:08] 26.

[00:34:09] Or wait, no, 24.

[00:34:11] Sorry.

[00:34:12] Mine's a 15.

[00:34:13] It's an 18 if it involves anything dead.

[00:34:15] Um.

[00:34:16] And I can smell it.

[00:34:18] You might get a hint of something in here, but you're not sure.

[00:34:22] Like, you're like, I kind of smell it, but I don't.

[00:34:25] To be fair, he would get the same roll with a plus two.

[00:34:27] No, no, no.

[00:34:28] He's got a wisdom perception check.

[00:34:32] Yours was a little higher.

[00:34:33] So just before, um, Troy notices it, you notice that there are some, uh, uh, some scratch marks.

[00:34:43] Um, near the wardrobe.

[00:34:46] Almost as if the bottom, uh, panel, uh, lifts.

[00:34:50] I pick up the wardrobe.

[00:34:54] There's a trap door there on any of it.

[00:34:57] I like to, I just want to envision me just picking up and casually tossing it through the canopy bed.

[00:35:06] There is a trap door.

[00:35:07] I lift it open.

[00:35:08] There is a ladder.

[00:35:09] It smells.

[00:35:10] Ooh.

[00:35:12] Smells down here.

[00:35:13] Smells like.

[00:35:14] It's a ladder going down.

[00:35:15] It smells like death.

[00:35:16] There it is.

[00:35:18] He leaps down.

[00:35:21] Can't be that far.

[00:35:23] I don't use the ladder.

[00:35:24] Just jump.

[00:35:26] Um.

[00:35:27] I jump on his back first.

[00:35:31] We find out it goes down.

[00:35:34] 48 feet.

[00:35:36] The, can you guys see in the dark?

[00:35:38] You can see.

[00:35:38] Yeah.

[00:35:38] Can you see the dark?

[00:35:39] No, no.

[00:35:40] I think.

[00:35:40] I would assume.

[00:35:42] I would think so.

[00:35:43] I think we all do.

[00:35:44] Does everybody have dark vision?

[00:35:45] I think so.

[00:35:45] Because we're not weak humans.

[00:35:48] It's true.

[00:35:48] No, because it's fifth dead and fucking everybody.

[00:35:50] No, I thought, I thought one of you didn't.

[00:35:51] Oh no, they changed it for that.

[00:35:52] Right.

[00:35:53] And they did.

[00:35:53] Didn't use to.

[00:35:54] Cause that was dumb.

[00:35:55] Yeah.

[00:35:55] Um.

[00:35:56] I can survive in the deepest, darkest.

[00:35:58] You just can't see.

[00:35:59] I just can't see.

[00:36:00] Yeah.

[00:36:00] Which makes a lot of sense.

[00:36:01] Unless it's some, uh, bioluminescent fish going by.

[00:36:04] That's what it is.

[00:36:05] Um.

[00:36:06] This dank basement room resembles a chapel.

[00:36:09] Uh, but where the altar should be stands a hideous blobby statue of some toothy abomination

[00:36:15] like a corpulent hairy toad with glittering emeralds for eyes.

[00:36:19] Wait.

[00:36:19] Bo Krog.

[00:36:20] Bo Krog.

[00:36:21] A circle of glyphs is inscribed in the floor before the idol.

[00:36:26] The flagstones stained with dark blood.

[00:36:29] One wall of the chapel features a mural of green robed figures walking out of a burning

[00:36:36] city and into a mountain where they sleep in crystal coffins.

[00:36:41] Three large wine casks sit upright along the wall smelling sickly sweet like death.

[00:36:53] Sweet.

[00:36:54] Did you say the statue had emerald eyes?

[00:36:57] Did.

[00:36:59] Did.

[00:36:59] Did.

[00:37:00] Did have emerald eyes.

[00:37:03] They're mine now.

[00:37:05] You can pop them out and I'll go shit.

[00:37:07] Um.

[00:37:08] Two emerald eyes.

[00:37:11] It, uh, was it a tapestry?

[00:37:13] It's a mural.

[00:37:14] So it's painted on the wall.

[00:37:16] That's much less cool.

[00:37:19] Much less later Indiana Jones.

[00:37:22] No, like, now you gotta make the big dramatic Poirot accusation.

[00:37:26] And I'm trying to find something I can use.

[00:37:28] How big is this statue?

[00:37:30] According to this, it's fairly large.

[00:37:32] This room is dramatically impressive.

[00:37:35] Um, it is, well it sits in a five foot square.

[00:37:37] So I would say it's, you know, like a five by six.

[00:37:39] Can I lift it?

[00:37:43] Um, sure.

[00:37:45] Sweet.

[00:37:46] You can probably lift it up a little bit.

[00:37:48] Kind of teeter it up off the ground maybe.

[00:37:49] Do you even lift bro?

[00:37:51] Uh.

[00:37:51] It's pretty solid.

[00:37:52] So it's, it's not light, but you can maybe, you might be able to get it just a little

[00:37:55] bit.

[00:37:56] I will flip it.

[00:37:59] Uh, it makes a loud noise.

[00:38:01] Does it break?

[00:38:03] Eh, it probably cracks and crumbles a little bit, but doesn't shatter.

[00:38:06] It's pretty solid.

[00:38:07] I will proceed to kick it until like, maybe I can extract say the head.

[00:38:11] The head's pretty gruesome, right?

[00:38:13] Um, it is toad-like.

[00:38:15] So it's almost like one big, I suppose that's fair.

[00:38:18] You know what I mean?

[00:38:18] One, one big arced creature.

[00:38:20] I'm looking for a dramatic entrance here, Lucas.

[00:38:23] Um.

[00:38:23] Well, he's got the emerald eyes, so that's something.

[00:38:25] Pick up the whole damn thing.

[00:38:27] How are we going to get it up a ladder though?

[00:38:29] Yeah.

[00:38:30] It's not light.

[00:38:31] It's not light at all.

[00:38:32] It's, it's, it's rather large.

[00:38:33] Well, that's why I originally wanted to go with the tapestry.

[00:38:36] It's not a tapestry.

[00:38:37] Yeah, unfortunately it's not a tapestry.

[00:38:40] Take a picture.

[00:38:42] You do have, uh, also three barrels that smell like death.

[00:38:46] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:38:47] They're pickling bodies.

[00:38:48] What's in the box?

[00:38:50] What's in the barrel?

[00:38:51] What's in the fucking barrel?

[00:38:53] You, each barrel contains a body.

[00:38:57] Now I can carry a body.

[00:38:59] Two males and one female.

[00:39:01] From what you can tell of the, uh.

[00:39:06] But like, what are they doing?

[00:39:07] Cause like, the statue's down here, fine.

[00:39:09] Does this go anywhere or is this just a pit?

[00:39:12] No, this is it, this is the room.

[00:39:13] So we're pickling bodies.

[00:39:15] Yeah, that's a cellar.

[00:39:17] They're, uh, I do need you guys.

[00:39:21] Gathering food for their upcoming god.

[00:39:24] I do need you guys to make wisdom saves.

[00:39:26] Wisdom saves?

[00:39:27] Yep.

[00:39:28] Wow.

[00:39:28] This is a dread save.

[00:39:30] Aw, dread.

[00:39:31] Aw, dread.

[00:39:31] It's not super high, so.

[00:39:34] 18.

[00:39:35] Uh huh.

[00:39:36] 15.

[00:39:37] Uh huh.

[00:39:39] 20.

[00:39:39] Uh huh.

[00:39:40] Still 18.

[00:39:41] Okay, your pass.

[00:39:42] DC was only 12, so you don't gain any dread, but it's, it's a little, it's a little shocking.

[00:39:45] I am the law.

[00:39:47] Yeah.

[00:39:48] Oh, wrong dread.

[00:39:49] Um, there are some candlesticks and a pitcher, um.

[00:39:54] Pitcher of what?

[00:39:55] It's empty.

[00:39:57] Um, I'm assuming it must be gilded.

[00:39:59] How malleable are these bodies?

[00:40:01] Just take the barrel.

[00:40:02] Day's squishy.

[00:40:04] We got a rope.

[00:40:05] One is, one is very desiccated, the others are fairly desiccated.

[00:40:08] Uh, yeah, let's just haul one of the barrels up.

[00:40:10] Okay.

[00:40:12] Do we want to check what was in the trunk upstairs?

[00:40:15] Oh, you can do that.

[00:40:16] Oh, yeah, go ahead.

[00:40:17] It was locked if you would like to try to unlock it.

[00:40:19] It's about to be not locked.

[00:40:22] Okay, go ahead and roll to unlock it.

[00:40:24] You seem to be doing really well with your pick.

[00:40:26] As I get, as I start getting the barrel up, I have a way to unlock it.

[00:40:30] 24.

[00:40:31] That fucker unlocks like you just breathed on it.

[00:40:34] Like he sticks a, he sticks a pinky claw in it.

[00:40:37] You find a, um, a purse of 1000 GP.

[00:40:41] Ooh!

[00:40:41] Throw that in the group.

[00:40:43] You're happy!

[00:40:43] You also find a map showing paths through the sunless forest from Haradavaz to the Aglophian

[00:40:51] Mountains, and you find a small ledger.

[00:40:54] Say that name again.

[00:40:55] Which one?

[00:40:57] Haradavaz or Fallopian Mountains.

[00:41:00] I don't think he's been pronouncing the H.

[00:41:02] Yeah, it's Haradavaz.

[00:41:03] Prominently.

[00:41:04] Haradavaz.

[00:41:05] It's Haradavaz.

[00:41:06] Oh!

[00:41:07] Yeah.

[00:41:08] It's on the fucking map that I sent you guys at the beginning of this game.

[00:41:11] You haven't even looked at that fucking map in months.

[00:41:13] You're in the city of Haradavaz.

[00:41:14] Yeah, you've been saying Haradavaz.

[00:41:16] Yes, 100%.

[00:41:17] With an H at the beginning.

[00:41:18] It's VH.

[00:41:19] That's it.

[00:41:20] Okay.

[00:41:21] I was confused why you guys didn't see that.

[00:41:23] It's Haradavaz with an H at the beginning.

[00:41:25] You have been losing that H.

[00:41:27] The map we can't fucking see.

[00:41:29] Stop.

[00:41:29] It's in the fucking chat.

[00:41:31] I gave it to you at the beginning of the game.

[00:41:34] I don't read the chat.

[00:41:34] Stop blaming the map for your piss poor pronunciation.

[00:41:39] I'm so pissed.

[00:41:40] Okay.

[00:41:40] So, yeah.

[00:41:41] We're good.

[00:41:43] Go get the king.

[00:41:44] We're gonna start killing people.

[00:41:45] Hang on.

[00:41:47] So, let me repeat that.

[00:41:48] A map showing paths through the sunless forest.

[00:41:51] To the Fallopian tubes.

[00:41:52] From Pradovas, with a fucking H at the beginning.

[00:41:55] To the Eiglofen Mountains.

[00:41:58] And a small ledger.

[00:42:00] I will open the ledger and paw through it.

[00:42:04] It appears to be a ledger that shows payments to himself.

[00:42:09] Does not say who from.

[00:42:11] What are some of the amounts?

[00:42:15] Not too dissimilar from what you found in the previous office.

[00:42:19] Okay.

[00:42:20] From double to triple digits.

[00:42:24] I mean, there's a thousand gold sitting in that purse.

[00:42:27] Yeah.

[00:42:27] Which is now.

[00:42:28] What purse.

[00:42:29] Right.

[00:42:30] Yeah.

[00:42:31] What purse.

[00:42:32] What 600 gold emeralds that you just took.

[00:42:36] I think that's what they were.

[00:42:37] Hang on.

[00:42:37] It is in here.

[00:42:39] Yeah.

[00:42:39] Each emerald worth 600 GP apiece.

[00:42:41] Jesus.

[00:42:42] I'm gonna fucking buy this town.

[00:42:44] It's a perfect emerald.

[00:42:48] I presume you're walking up the ladder back to the.

[00:42:51] Oh, I haven't played.

[00:42:51] Back towards the party then?

[00:42:54] No.

[00:42:56] I'm gonna go back into the Chamberlain's.

[00:43:03] Just the initial room because that wasn't locked.

[00:43:05] And grab that ledger.

[00:43:06] The office.

[00:43:06] We're gonna take both ledgers.

[00:43:08] Okay.

[00:43:08] Now that we have.

[00:43:09] Some decently concrete evidence.

[00:43:11] Yeah.

[00:43:11] All the Heath ledgers.

[00:43:12] Gotcha.

[00:43:12] And he thought climbing across the roof was dumb.

[00:43:16] Yeah.

[00:43:17] Well.

[00:43:26] Thank you all for listening.
